Chippenham U10s took on local rivals Wootton Bassett in the last competitive game of the year at Allington Fields and achieved an impressive six games without a loss.
Throughout the morning’s rugby, the team won four of their games and drew the other two against a well-drilled Bassett team.
Among the highlights for the Chippenham side were a brace of tries each for Al Mackenzie, Quinn Clarke, Jack Smith, Alex Barlow, Marcus James and Ben Hathaway.
Results from other age groups were equally positive with the U8s winning both of the games against the Bassett counterparts, 8-6 and 6-4, the younger Hathaway brother, Tom, scoring an impressive four tries.
The Chippenham U12s came up trumps with an impressive 25-5 victory over Wootton Bassett U12’s helped with two tries from the strong-running James Tucker.
