SECOND Division Chippenham West End completed the quarter-final line up of this season’s Westernsport Trophies-sponsored WG Parr Trophy after their 8-2 success over third division Bremhill View Boys.
After falling behind to an Aaron Gardiner penalty West End had few problems in getting past Bremhill once they had got back on level terms through a Phil Mellor header.
A second from Mellor, shortly after his first, this time a long-range strike put West End 2-1 up and when Jason Lovell added a third with a precise finish Bremhill looked a beaten side.
Bremhill View pulled a back just after the break thanks to a second penalty from Gardiner, but after that the floodgates opened as West End put their guests to the sword.
James Mulhall restored their two-goal advantage before both Scott Nash and Ben Hibberd scored two each to make the final score 8-2, the second of Hibberd’s brace being a sweetly-struck free kick.
