GYMNASTICS: TINY tumblers took part in the county floor and vault competition at the Wiltshire School of Gymnastics in Melksham.
Some of the gymnasts were just five-years-old and for many this was their first taste of county level competition.
Aurora King won the gold medal, Robyn Ellison the silver and Anna Oatley the bronze in the category for five-year-olds.
WSC gymnasts achieved a clean-sweep in the six year-olds class. Lucy Gray took gold, Megan Neathey silver and Anna Gilbert and Tianie Newman claimed a joint bronze.
Helena Humm won gold in the category for seven-year-olds, with close friend Isabella Peterson in third place.
Gymnasts aged eight and over were split into two categories .
In category A, for county-level gymnasts, Rosie Rudd claimed silver and Jade Smith took bronze.
Category B, for girls achieving a regional standard of performance, attracted a much higher standard of competition.
WSG gymnasts Amy Neale and Katie Grubb took silver and bronze respectively.
Georgia Wray won gold in the category A 10-years class, and in category B Kirby Mullis was crowned champion. Bronte Cavalla took the bronze.
Serena Nelson-Hall performed stylishly to win silver for 10-11 year-olds.
Ellie Sutcliffe won the 12-13 years category A competition and Zoe Taylor took bronze. In the 14 and over group, Becky Stevens won silver.
