DIVING: WEST Wiltshire Diving Club celebrated a stunning gold medal haul at the Wilts County ASA diving championships and age group competition.
The Trowbridge-based club swept the board at the county's annual showcase with winners in every category.
Alex Bedford claimed golds in the junior and senior events on both the one-metre and three-metre boards.
Bedford was also crowned champion in the over 16s boys' category.
Laura Holmes won both the junior and senior 1m events for girls, with club-mate Rebecca Turner clinching the 3m junior and senior titles for a second consecutive year.
Holmes also won the 16+ age group, beating close friend and rival Turner by 0.15 of a point.
Eleven-year-old Rhianna Andrew took bronze in the senior girls' 1m, while young American Kirsten Walsh dived courageously to take third place in the senior 3m event.
Charlotte Hawkings retained her 12-15 age group title with an excellent display of diving.
A total of 31 awards were presented to West Wilts club members.
For some competitors this was not just their first county event but also their first experience of competitive diving.
In her debut performance, Amy Cowley came second in the 12-15 age group and third in the junior 1m board.
