ANGLING: THE second round of the Commercial House Winter League was fished on the Avon at Jack Whites and the Crane stretch.
Bendix A took top spot in A division with 29 points, with SWEB topping B division with 26 points.
Individual honours on the day went to Dean Harvey, of Frys B, with a mixed bag of bream, skimmers and roach weighing 22lb 12oz, taken alternating with feeder-fished red maggots and worm.
Melksham's Robin Guy, fishing for SWEB, took second prize with a mixed bag of roach, skimmers and perch weighing 17lb 6oz, taken alternating with pole-fished red maggots and casters. He was followed by Eddie Wynne, of Bathampton Avon Aquatics, with a mixed catch of roach and skimmers weighing 16lb 1oz, taken on pole-fished casters.
Other placings: 4 Paul Isaacs, Bristol AC, 15lb 15oz 8dm; 5 Dave Gilman, Bendix, 15lb 4oz; 6 Dave Wride, D & W Builders, 11lb 2oz.
