MOTOR RACING: CHIPPENHAM racer Nathan Bell and his co-driver Rob Jenkinson are the 2006 Cosworth Caterham Masters Champions.

They were crowned at the French circuit of Pau-Arnos after their seventh victory of the season.

Even though there was no fairytale final-round win for the Acre Jean/Hyperion Motorsport duo, they beat their great rivals Richard Hay and Clive Richards to the title by four points.

It is 27-year-old Bell's maiden championship victory in a track career which started only in 2003, in the Caterham Academy.
