ANGLING: VIADUCT Fishery was in sparkling form for the Saturday open match, with carp in feeding mood.
Top honours went to Dave Brittain, of Team Sillybait, with a carp catch weighing 170lb 3oz, taken alternating with pole and waggler fished pellets.
Frome matchman Steve Denmead, of PA Megabait, took second prize with another carp catch weighing 113lb 9oz, taken on pole-fished pellets. He was followed by Paul Garrett, of Team Sillybait, with a carp catch weighing 107lb, with Paul White, of Mosella Eastleigh, fourth with a carp catch weighing 105lb 13oz.
Bathampton's Callum Dicks took top silver fish catch with a weight of 55 lb 11 oz.
Viaduct Fishery was again in top form for the Wednesday open match.
Paul Garrett, of Team Sillybait, carried off top prize with a carp catch weighing 174lb 3oz, taken on pole-fished pellets.
Devizes star Gary Etheridge took second prize with a carp catch weighing 171lb 15oz, taken on pole fished pellets and sweetcorn. He was followed by Paul White, of Mosella Eastleigh, with a carp catch weighing 153lb 3oz, taken on pole-fished pellets. Frome matchman Jamie Smith, of Haines AC, was in fourth spot with another carp catch weighing 125lb 4oz.
