FROME Town continued their cracking start to the season with a 3-1 home win over Dawlish Town in the Toolstation League Premier Division - their eighth straight victory.
Gavin Eyre, Jamie Cheeseman, Sam Duggan and Joe Gomes all went close before Frome took the lead in the 36th minute with the prolific Mark Salter firing home Duggan's cross. Gomes then doubled the lead seven minutes later finishing off a fine flowing move involving Dean Ranger, Eyre and Duggan.
Gary Head set up a tense finish by pulling a goal back in the 74th minute, but The Robins secured their win in stoppage time when the dangerous Duggan saw his cross handled and Salter, who had missed his last two penalties, stepped up and dispatched the spot kick into the bottom corner for his 17th goal of the season.
The Frome Minibuses man-of-the-match was Sam Duggan.
