CORSHAM Centre's first venture into the national FA Sunday Cup ended with them booking their place in round two with a thumping 11-0 win over Bristol and District Sunday League side Ashton FC.
James Lye continued his good run of form with a hat-trick, Tim Jefferies and Ben Moore scored two each and Craig Gingell, Ben Thomson, Liam Ralph and Simon Gray, with his first of the season, finished the romp.
Fellow Chippenham League side Holt FC were not as fortunate as they crashed out to a late winner against CB Hounslow United from the Hayes and District Sunday League Holt had the worst possible start when they lost Adam Chequer with a dislocated shoulder early on. Despite the setback Holt took the lead through Neil Grant and Tom Pang hit the bar before Hounslow drew level and then the won the game 2-1 with the winner coming two minutes into stoppage time.
