SNOOKER: TROWBRIDGE snooker ace Adam Wicheard has picked up a cue for the first time since suffering a career-threatening neck injury in May.
The 21-year-old played pool at Trowbridge Snooker Club, just five months after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour on his spinal cord.
Now the former Clarendon School pupil, ranked second in the UK at under-21 level, is desperate for a return to competition.
He said: "I'd like to think I could still compete at the same level as before the operation, but we'll just have to wait and see."
