DETAILS of the route of the Olympic Torch Relay next year have been announced, with plenty of opportunities for Wiltshire residents to see its progress towards London in July.
On day four of the relay (May 22, 2012) the torch will go through Southwick, Trowbridge, and Bradford on its way between Taunton and Bristol.
Then, on day five (May 23), it will pass through Chippenham, Calne, Marlborough, Chiseldon, Wroughton, Royal Wootton Bassett as it goes between Bristol and Cheltenham.
On day 54 of the relay, a leg between between Reading and Salisbury, the torch will pass through Tidworth, Amesbury and the Winterbournes.
