JASON Guy was disappointed to see his side fail to pick up even a point after their second-half performance against Verwood Town last weekend.
After trailing 2-0 at half-time, Simon Reaney’s low shot pulled a goal back before the visitors netted again.
Manager Guy dusted himself off and fired home from the penalty spot after he was brought down to make it 3-2, but Warminster couldn’t find the equaliser.
“It was a bit disappointing because the second half performance was as good as we’d played all season,” said Guy.
“The attitude in the dressing room is still good and the players know they’ve got potential but it’s just a shame where we are in the table.
“It’s disappointing for me, for the players and the supporters at the club too but we know that things aren’t as bad as the league makes it look.”
Second-from-bottom Warminster travel to eighth-placed Fleet Spurs tomorrow.
