CALNE came out on top in a forward-dominated encounter at Bradford.
The visitors dominant pack, led by Peter Brownlie, stuck to a strict game plan with hooker Tom Morten and second row Jay Stockton the primary carriers.
Bradford’s backs looked dangerous but had little ball and were shut down early by flankers Mike Palfrey and Chris Macalonan.
The second-half kicking of fky-half Matt Kelly, who booted two penalties, and ball carrying of prop Shane McCafferty kept up the pressure.
And Calne grabbed the only touchdown, earning a converted penalty try under the posts.
