Bradley King-Taylor maintained his purple patch with a first-half double that gave the Lamb a two goal advantage at half time.

Shortly after the break Jordan Evans rifled home a spectacular strike for Melksham who were now back in the game.

Lamb weathered a mini-storm and they regained a two-goal cushion when Craig Sheppard planted home their third.

FOLLOWING back-to-back losses, FC Calne rediscovered the winning formula as they romped to a 9-1 win at Bratton Reserves, who went into the game at Beversbrook hoping claim their first win in three outings.

George Bettles signed off for Calne before he begins a three-match suspension by grabbing a hat-trick.

Steve Wordley and Andy Dolman scored two apiece and a goal each from Gary Stroud and Alex Lewis made up the nine.

Tristan Buckland was Bratton’s lone marksman.
