WITH the top three teams from Division Two in Knockout Cup action, Worton & Cheverell knew that nothing other than a victory from the visit of Heytesbury to their Sandfield base would be good enough if they were to keep the pressure on the leading clubs.
Thanks to a 4-0 win Worton did the business as they picked up maximum points which saw them leapfrog Warminster Town Reserves into third place.
Heytesbury, who were hoping to build on their thrilling win over Bratton last weekend, were undone by Myles Hickton, who once again showed his goal scoring talents with three of his team's four goals.
Hickton’s opener gave his team the lead on 23 minutes and he doubled it five minutes later.
Hickton completed his hat-trick on 49 minutes before Ben Mason scored the final goal of the game on 89 minutes.
