WARMINSTER have their first win of the Dorset & Wilts One South campaign after a determined performance.
The home side grabbed the lead with a penalty but the amber and blues pack had the upper hand in the scrums, forcing turnovers.
However, despite a fine move which saw wing Dean Priestman just unable to find Tom Pearce with a scoring pass, that was how it stayed until half time.
But with Jason Sprangle marshalling his forwards from scrum-half, Warminster began to gain yardage and a simple backs move saw Rob Bell touch down.
Bridport regained the lead with their second penalty, but Sprangle responded with his own effort for an 8-6 advantage.
Lewis Noble then spurned a golden try-scoring opportunity for the visiting side before Warminster effectively sealed the game From a lineout five metres out, hooker Dan Woods found second row Luke Phillips at the back of the line and his pass found rampaging prop Steve Rowbotham to crash over, Sprangle adding the extras.
