WARMINSTER slipped a place as their bowlers were given the runaround by the visiting side’s batsmen.
Keynsham chose to bat, a decision that was richly rewarded with a formidable batting total.
Dominic Webb removed opener Daniel Jarman early on, but skipper Gary Worgan hit 58 and number three Russ Wakefield 79 to establish Keynsham’s control.
Paul Robbins then hit 88 as Warminster struggled.
Chris Poulton (2-30) was the pick of their attack and he completed a fine personal performance by hitting a century (104) in the reply.
Stuart Hammond added 39 and captain Mark Coxon Tenty a useful 35, but Warminster’s chase was hampered by falling wickets.
Sam Pollinger took 3-61 for Keynsham, while Rich Walton took 2-44 to leave the home side 45 runs short as last man Webb (25) fell.
