TROWBRIDGE face an agonising wait to learn whether they will be relegated to Dorset and Wilts League One after a devastating final day 20-12 home defeat to rivals Cooper-Avon Tyres.
Trowbridge will not learn their fate until May 7, when the outcome of league restructuring at national level is announced at a meeting of the RFU South West competitions committee.
As things stand, Trowbridge will be relegated unless the committee accepts a proposal that only two teams be promoted from Dorset and Wilts One.
Elsewhere in Southern Counties South, a defeat for Corsham against champions Frome at Gypsy Lane means the Lacock Road outfit have been relegated along with basement side Blandford.
