TROWBRIDGE Town Youth have won the under 14s Blue Division in the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League after a thrilling 5-4 home win over FC Chippenham.
Trowbridge dominated the first half, taking a 4-1 lead at the break with goals from Tom Mackinder (2) and Jamie Jordan (2). The second half saw Chippenham pull the score back to 4-3 before Town notched up a fifth goal through Luke Fisher.
Chippenham never gave up and were back in the game at 5-4 but Trowbridge held out to clinch this season's title.
UNDER NINE'S YELLOW DIVISION
Trowbridge Wanderers gained the three points from their last game of the season at Larkhall Eagles to secure the runners-up place. Wanderers gave a great team performance and were 8-2 winners.
Ben Tiley and Cain Collins scored for the Eagles.
UNDER 10's GREEN DIVISION
White Horse Juniors Sparks have replaced Trowbridge Wanderers at the top of the table after running out 2-1 winners over Devizes Town Youth in a midweek fixture. Harry Bradford scored both goals for the Sparks.
UNDER 11's GREEN DIVISION
Amesbury Juniors' championship hopes suffered a knock in their midweek game away to Warminster Highbury. Highbury controlled the first half, taking a two goal advantage at the break. Amesbury were back in the game at 2-1 shortly after the interval but a third goal for Highbury secured them the victory. Mike Gemine (2) and Luke Love scored for Highbury.
Amesbury's hopes were further dented in their away game against Trowbridge Town Youth which ended all square at 4-4.
Melksham Town Youth have moved to the top of the table after their home win over Devizes Town Youth.
UNDER 12's GREEN DIVISION
Amesbury Juniors have taken the title after a 6-1 win over their closet rivals, second placed Bradford Town Youth. Shannon Dunn scored for Bradford.
UNDER 14's RED DIVISION
AFC Calne kept alive their hopes of the title with a 4-1 away win at Amesbury Juniors. Sam Paget gave Calne a 2-1 advantage at the interval, with Josh Dolman making it 3-1 just after the break. Jamie Vancrump sealed the win with a fourth goal late in the game.
UNDER 15's BLUE DIVISION
Trowbridge Town Youth A have moved to the top of the table after taking nine points from three games. Tuesday saw Trowbridge run out 4-0 winners away to Warminster Highbury, with goals from Kurt Hammond (3) and Stuart Greener. Friday evening saw them run out 2-1 away winners in their top of the table clash against Castle Combe Colts Black, with goals from Kurt Hammonds and Liam Flower.
The local derby between Trowbridge Wanderers saw them notch up the last of their nine points with a 3-1 win. Ronnie Frost scored for Wanderers.
In an eventful game Salisbury City found themselves down to eight men before the final whistle at home against Devizes Town Youth. A first half strike on target from Jacob Wrobel gave Devizes a 1-0 victory.
UNDER 16's BLUE DIVISION
The top two teams in this division, Trowbridge Town Youth and Chippenham Town Youth, remain on course to battle it out for the title. Trowbridge Town Youth ran out 7-1 winners against Devizes Blues in their penultimate game of the season. Tob Dawson (2), Liam Milburn (2), Scott Cunningham, Tom Parr, Kieran Fereday scored for Trowbridge, with Zak Hartley replying for the Blues.
Chippenham Town Youth kept a clean sheet in their game against Salisbury City and goals from Tom Needham and Liam Brown gave them a 4-0 home win.
UNDER 16's RED DIVISION
Melksham Town Youth 2nds need just two points from their last three games to secure the title after running out 4-2 winners against Bradford Town Youth. Leroy Richards (2), Rob Manning and Mike Smith scored for Melksham, with Mark Maguire (2) replying for Bradford.
Melksham Park dented second place Amesbury Juniors' title hopes after running our 4-1 home winners. Two goals from Joe Scott gave Park a 2-0 lead at half-time, with Chris Smith making it 3-0 just after the restart. Amesbury were back in the game at 3-1 with a well taken penalty shot, but a late goal from Kane Udah tied up the game for Park.
