A BRILLIANT individual goal by Mark Salter condemned Melksham to defeat on Saturday in a fiery Premier Division clash at the Conigre.
Salter controlled the ball, turned and volleyed beyond a helpless Scott Windle to give the Somerset side all three points. Melksham manager Kelvin Highmore said: "I spoke to their manager after the match and he said there was no way we deserved to lose.
"Frome were second best for the first 45 minutes. Although we never really looked like scoring, I could not fault the performance.
"Salter's goal was pure class. He did very little before the goal but it's hard to contain somebody of his calibre," he said.
