CORSHAM withheld a physical challenge from strong-armed Radstock team on Tuesday night to keep the pressure on title favourites Bideford at the Premier Division summit.
A brace from leading scorer Toby Colbourne was enough to sink the Somerset side in torrential conditions at the Southfields Recreation Ground.
Reds' manager Colin Bush praised the battling qualities of his players, who had to endure an intense spell of pressure late in the first half.
He said: "It was important to back up the win on Saturday with another good result and we did that.
"We could not have played worse in the first half. We defended very deep and Radstock put us under a lot of pressure. They were a very big, strong side who were not afraid to dig in. Our goalkeeper and back four must emerge with a lot of credit for the way they coped."
Craig Chaplin made a terrific diving save after three minutes to keep Corsham on level terms before John Eldred saw his effort equally well blocked by the Radstock goalkeeper.
Eldred was unlucky minutes later when he made a solid connection with Scott Lye's cross, but the ball sailed wide of the upright.
Corsham's first goal came from the penalty spot after winger Ben Fitch was upended in a clumsy challenge. Colbourne made no mistake from 12 yards and he sealed the points with a neat finish from Frank Coleman's centre.
