MORGAN Burton scored a hat-trick to take Melksham Town Youth into the final of the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League under nines league cup.
His three goals were enough to beat Westbury Youth in an exciting semi-final at Leafy Lane, Corsham.
In the other semi-final Trowbridge Town Youth beat Trowbridge Wanderers 2-1 in an extremely close game in which neither side could gain control for long periods. Tom Green and substitute Joe Blais scored for Town, with Wanderers replying with an own goal.
UNDER 10's LEAGUE CUP
A GOAL by Harry Bradford was enough to take White Horse Juniors Sparks through to the final at the expense of Team Bath Arsenal.
In the other semi-final Melksham Town Youth ran out 4-0 winners against Chippenham Town Youth, with a hat-trick from Tom Maynard. and a single from Jamie Broom.
UNDER 11's LEAGUE CUP
WILLIAM Jacomb gave Melksham Town Youth an early lead in their tie against AFC Corsham but Corsham were soon level at 1-1, from the penalty spot, before going on to lead 2-1 at the break. Midway through the second half Charlie Austin put Melksham back in the frame. The game looked to be going Corsham's way when they were awarded a second penalty, but they hit the post, sending the game into extra-time. The tie was decided when William Stead scored the winner for Melksham.
Amesbury Juniors beat Warminster Highbury 1-0 in the other semi-final.
UNDER 12's LEAGUE CUP
JAMES Henry, Tristan O'Hagan and Tom Nicklen scored for Amesbury Juniors in their 3-1 win against Bradford Town Youth.
Amesbury will meet FC Chippenham in the final after they ran out 6-1 winners against Melksham Town Youth.
UNDER 13's LEAGUE CUP
AMESBURY Juniors were 2-1 winners over Trowbridge Town Youth in their semi-final.
Trowbridge Wanderers ran out 3-0 winners against Westbury Youth, with goals from Ben Yates, Jordan Lee-Gullis and Martin Johnson.
UNDER 14's LEAGUE CUP
FC CHIPPENHAM beat Trowbridge Wanderers in a very close game.Sibbick scored in the first half and Harrison added the second after the break.
In the other semi-finalTrowbridge Town Youth ran out 3-0 winners against South Newton and Wishford, with goals from Tom Mackinder, Luke fisher and Jamie Jordan.
UNDER 15'S LEAGUE CUP
ONE of the cup upsets at the weekend saw Devizes Town Youth run out 2-1 winners against favourites Salisbury City. The Devizes scorers were Jack Hopper and Rory Brown.
Trowbridge Town Youth kept a clean sheet against FC Chippenham to see them through with a 3-0 scoreline. Liam Flower scored all three goals to secure Trowbridge's place in the final.
UNDER 16'S LEAGUE CUP
AFTER knocking out Melksham Town Youth in the quarter-finals, Trowbridge Town Youth were drawn against Melksham Town Youth 2nds in the semis. The game was on a knife edge throughout and after a final score of 2-2 the game went into extra-time. Melksham thought they had made it when they netted in the first period of extra time but Trowbridge brought the game level to see the game settled on penalties.
Melksham held their nerve and took the game on penalties at 5-4 for the second cup upset of the weekend.
Chippenham Town Youth reached the final with a 5-0 win over Pewsey Vale. Joe White (2), Liam Brown and Tom Needham scored the goals.
UNDER NINES RED DIVISION
MELKSHAM Town won their final league game of the season, with a 2-1 success over Devizes Town Youth. Elliott Fudge and Alfie Kilgour scored for Melksham, with Harry Easton replying.
UNDER 10'S BLUE DIVISION
LARKHALL Athletic Falcons remain two points behind the leaders with a game in hand after a 2-1 win over AFC Corsham Jaguars. Joseph Oswin and Olly Noad scored for Falcons, with Joe Knight replying.
UNDER 10'S GREEN DIVISION
AFTER dominating most of the game Castle Combe had to come from behind twice against Devizes Town Youth to earn a 2-2 draw. Bradley Morris and Luca Grobler scored for Castle Combe with Harry Brinton and Jamie Ware replying.
Trowbridge Wanderers remain at the top despite being on the wrong end of a 1-0 final score against Warminster Highbury. Highbury's winner came late in the second half, with Oliver Smith scoring with a close range header.
UNDER 10's ORANGE DIVISION
WESTBURY Youth finished their season with a 2-0 victory over Derry Hill. The goals came from Jake Rylands and an own goal.
UNDER 10's RED DIVISION
TROWBRIDGE Lions beat White Horse Jets 6-0, with Liam Taylor scoring a hat-trick, Nathan Owens adding two and Wesley McBarnett a single.
Westbury and AFC Corsham shared the spoils in exciting 2-2 draw at Redland Lane. Adam Osborne's goal direct from a corner 15 minutes into the first half gave Westbury the lead, but midway through the second half Corsham took control, with an equaliser from David Mullins and a stunning goal from Aaron Ward-Baptise in the space of a few minutes.
Westbury scored a deserved equaliser with five minutes to through Charlie Burgess.
Melksham Park beat local rivals Melksham Town 6-0, with goals from Lewis Pearce (2), Conner Randell, Daniel Field, Luke Roberts and Luke Escott.
UNDER 10'S YELLOW DIVISION
TROWBRIDGE Wanderers need just two points from their last two games to secure the title after running out 4-0 winners at home to Warminster Highbury. Jack Samuel (2), Nathan Rowlings and Max Harding scored for Wanderers.
Trowbridge Pumas held out until the last kick of the first half before Worton and Cheverell took the lead through Sam Jones.
Trowbridge soaked up a lot of pressure in the second half but before Jordan Wildman netted a second for Worton.
White Horse Gems played some of their best football of the season, with man-of-the-match Mike Crossley opening the scoring before Larkhall Athletic pulled level.
Thomas Tadd made it 2-0 before an own goal and an Andrew Reynolds strike made it 4-1 at half-time. Playing against the strong wind Tadd made it 5-1 early in the second half and White Horse held on to register their third win of the season.
UNDER 11'S DIVISION TWO
BRADFORD Town Youth took an early lead against Trowbridge Wanderers through Duncan Burnside, whose pace up front gave Wanderers defence problems. Trowbridge had their chances in the first half but could not beat Bradford goalkeeper Tony McElhone who pulled off some great saves.
The second half saw Bradford step up a gear and midfielder Tom Wade scored two goals in as many minutes. Paul Eaton scored the final goal to put Bradford back on top of on goal difference.
UNDER 11'S DIVISION THREE
FC CHIPPENHAM beat Melksham Town Youth 4-0, with goals from Harry Campbell (2), Steve Hayes and Nicky Manifold.
An excellent performanceby both teams left Westbury 4-1 up at half-time against AFC Calne, with goals by Kai Bingham and a wonderful hat-trick from Luke Booth. Calne made it 4-3 before Stuart Brothers scored to give Westbury their second win of the season.
UNDER 11'S DIVISION FOUR
WORTON and Cheverell move up to second after a 5-2 away win over Trowbridge Wanderers. Mohamed Karmoun and Alex Harper scored for Wanderers.
Bradford battled right until the final whistle before going down to a 10-0 defeat at Amesbury Lions. Matt Walsh (5), Connor Cuttler (2), Dean Pike (2) and Connor Fry scored for the Lions.
Warminster Juniors dropped from first to third after their 2-2 draw at Malmesbury Youth. Malmesbury were 2-1 up at the break, with goals from Alex Poulitou and Tom Hayden, but Warminster battled hard in the second half to salvage a point.
UNDER 11's DIVISION FIVE
BROMHAM move up to second after running out 5-2 winners at Chippenham Town Rangers, whose goals came from Will Geeves and Aaron Fernandez.
UNDER 12's GREEN DIVISION
AFC CORSHAM move up to second after their 6-1 win at Westbury Youth. Mel King (5) and Leigh Rogers scored for Corsham, with Lewis Gardiner replying for Westbury.
White Horse Juniors won 6-2 at FC Chippenham, with goals from Max Bush (2), Ben Wickens (3) and Tom Sigee.
UNDER 12'S RED DIVISION
LARKHALL Athletic secured the title with a 4-0 win over Trowbridge Wanderers.
Ryan Farrington, Scott Blackley and Joseph Battrick (2) scored the goals.
After their disappointing defeat in the snow last week Westbury Youth were firing on all cylinders in glorious sunshine for their home rematch against
Castle Combe Colts and ran out 5-2 winners. Thomas Martin, Stephen Brewer (2), Philip Lucas and Ellis Fisher scored for Westbuyr, with Sam Wozniak (2) replying.
Melksham Park ran out 4-2 winners at Bromham, whose goals came from Jack Sheppard and Steven Price.
UNDER 13'S RED DIVISION
AFC CALNE ran out 5-1 winners at home to Chippenham Town Youth, with goals from Mike Coulson (3) and Josh Eades (2).
UNDER 13'S RED DIVISION
CASTLE Combe Colts became the first team to beat FC Chippenham this season with a 2-1 scoreline. Daniel Pearce scored his first goal of the season to put Combe ahead and Giorgio Falcone scored the second with a 35 yard free kick.
Chippenham showed why they are top of the division in the second half, putting up a real fight only to see Combe goalkeeper Lui Polastrone deny them with some brilliant saves. Chippenham scored a consolation goal two minutes from the end.
UNDER 14'S GREEN DIVISION
WARMINSTER Highbury secured runners-up position with a 4-0 home win over Westbury Youth. Craig Sheppard, Josh Gartland and Stewart Lisowski (2) scored for Highbury. Westbury named James McDonald as their man-of-the-match.
UNDER'S 14's RED DIVISION
LANGFORD United finished their season on a high by running out 4-2 winners at FC Chippenham 2nds. Tom Best (2), Andy Borland and Tom Bennett scored for Langford.
UNDER 15'S RED DIVISION
AMESBURY Juniors move up to third after their convincing 7-2 home win over White Horse Juniors. Jack Gentle (4), Nathan Mundy, James Chapman and Peter Hilliard scored for Amesbury.
Castle Combe Colts took all the points after a narrow 4-3 victory at Amesbury Juniors 2nds. Scott Ranachan 92) and Cory Knowles scored for Amesbury.
South Newton and Wishford took the lead in their game at second place Chippenham Town Youth when goalkeeper Ben Young scored from the penalty spot. Chippenham equalised before the break, but Ricky Harrison scored the winner for the visitors midway through the second half.
UNDER 16's RED DIVISION
MELKSHAM Town Youth moved up to third after their 1-0 win at Devizes Blues. The game was end to end and very sporting, with the goal being scored with late in the game by James Muir.
