TEENAGER Kieran Baggs scored his first Bradford goal on Saturday as Mark Hodkinson's men romped to their second successive away win.
Bath City trainee Baggs sprinted from the halfway line to complete the scoring in the final minute and lift Bradford into the top half of the table for the first time since Christmas.
It was the 17-year-old's second appearance in Bradford colours since he joined the club three weeks ago and Hodkinson believes Baggs will be a useful addition to his squad.
He said: "Kieran is only a slight lad but he's full of confidence. He's not played much for Bath under 18s this year so it's nice that we can call on him when we need him.
"It's important to have a big squad at this stage of the season. We've got 10 games coming up in April so it will really test our resources." Russell Francis opened the scoring for Bradford after 29 minutes when he collected Andy Williams' through ball and smashed it beyond the goalkeeper.
The same two players combined after 79 minutes to give the Trowbridge Road outfit a two-goal cushion. Williams was again the provider and Francis slotted home from close range for his second of the afternoon.
Baggs rounded off a fine team performance in the last minute when he sprinted from half way and placed the ball into the bottom corner.
Hodkinson said afterwards: "I was pleased with the performance and pleased with the result. You can't ask for any more than to go away from home and score three goals and keep a clean sheet.
"We won the midfield battle and the back four looked really solid. All credit must go to my players, they deserved everything they got."
