TROWBRIDGE LEAGUE: BRADFORD United have replaced Freshford United at the top of Division One following a 2-0 victory over bottom of the table Heytesbury.
Mark Hunt and Jack Holdway scored the goals.
Freshford have now dropped to third after losing 3-1 at Broughton Gifford.
Freshford started fairly briskly and Paul Mockridge shot just wide after he latched onto a through ball.
Moments later Broughton took the lead when the visitors' goalkeeper seemed to have a Lee Hayward shot well covered but was beaten by a deflection.
Hayward added a second after being put clear by a long ball from defence.
With 15 minutes to go Freshford were awarded a penalty, which was converted by Mockridge. Broughton had a player sent off but clinched the points when they broke out from a corner and Chris Styles scored with a fine header.
Blue Circle remain second on goal difference following their 1-1 draw at Rudloe Blue Circle were 1-0 up at the interval through Gary King, but Warren James equalised in the second half.
Defending champions North Bradley Saints kept their title hopes alive, winning 5-4 at Seend United.
Chris Fardell scored a hat-trick for The Saints, whose other goals came from Scott Askew and an own goal.
Seend's goal came from a hat-trick from Dave Castle (3) and Barry Holloway.
In the only Division Two fixture promotion-chasing The Deverills won 3-0 at Bratton to make it five straight victories. This was the fourth time this season these two teams have met.
Deverills struggled to get going but took the lead against the run of play five minutes before the interval with a a fine strike from the edge of the box by Aaron Stevens.
The visitors improved considerably in the second period and Aaron Donaldson added the second goal when, following a strong run, he cut inside a defender and scored from just inside the box.
Following another good run by Donaldson the ball rebounded to defender Joel Grogan, who lobbed the keeper from the edge of the box to score his first goal in three seasons.
Deverills are now in second spot, relegating Hilperton United, who were playing in the Division Two Cup, to third.
Bradford Town Reserves are the new leaders in Division Three after beating FC Chippenham 5-0, with goals from Charlie Powell (2, one penalty), Tom Downing (2) and Mark Robinson.
Frome Town Sports A severely dented Trowbridge Wanderers' title aspirations by beating them 4-1.
The home side started well and took the lead after five minutes after a defensive mistake by Steve Hill.
The visitors equalised through Steve Coombes, but Frome regained the lead with a powerful header from their centre forward.
After the break Wanderers dominated but couldn't find a way through Frome's stubborn defence. The home side extended their lead following a breakaway which was finished with Paul Bendall unleashing a bullet of a shot and Frome scored their fourth with a neat lob. Their other scorers were Ben Short (2) and David Dawley.
Lavington, without a game, dropped to third, while Rowde, who won 5-2 at Four Seasons, remain fourth, still some way adrift. The honours look to be between these top three teams.
Rowde's goals came from James Webb (2), John Knight, Adie Bridge and Darren Morris, with Clive Fenwick and Brett Cullen replying.
The basement encounter at Apetito saw a thumping 4-1 victory for Bradford United Reserves.
Nigel Penelhum scored for Apetito in the second half and the visitors netted twice in each half, through Will Browning (2), Dan Eames and Darren Morris.
In the semi-final first leg of the Division Two Cup, sponsored by Taylor Kitchens and Bedrooms, AFC Trowbridge Town Youth Reserves won 2-1 at Hilperton United.
It was all square 1-1 at the interval, but the Trowbridge side added a further goal to take a lead to the second leg. Ricky Montacute and Jamie Young grabbed the goals for the visitors with the Hilperton reply coming from Lee Ashman.
The first round match in the Spring Cup, sponsored by AM Print and Copy, between The Stiffs and Hilperton United Reserves ended goalless after extra time.
