Wiltshire County Cricket League: Trowbridge 2nd XI v Cheltenham 2nd XI
Cheltenham won the toss and elected to bat on a wild blustery day at the county ground on a damp wicket with rain forecast.
Trowbridge stand in skipper M Mullis was delighted with their choice and entered the field with a keen side to continue their positive start to the season.
Cheltenham started slowly L Giles opening the bowling taking 1 wicket for 5 runs in his first 6 overs.
Cheltenham accelerated their run to finish with 207-5 M.Mullis taking 3 wickets, Trowbridge started slowly but when Goddard 49 joined Gingell 82 the run rate increased.
Trowbridge fell 5 runs short in one of the best games seen at the county ground in recent seasons.
