Wiltshire County Cricket League Division 3: Trowbridge A v Biddestone 3rd
Biddestone 3rd travelled to Trowbridge A and won by 98 runs to claim their first victory of the season.
Biddestone captain Kevin Mitchell won the toss and elected to bat first.
Openers Paul Walden and Dave Kilmurray started well, putting on 43 before Kilmurray was adjudged lbw for 21.
Mike Flynn and Matt Unwin quickly followed leaving Biddestone on 48-3.
Mitchell joined Walden at the crease and they took the score on to 115 before Mitchell was caught behind for 27.
Walden was eventually dismissed for 51, and Alex Chrystal scored a brisk 31 to leave the innings on 187-9.
Tallentire and Clarkson both claimed 3 wickets apiece for Trowbridge.
In reply, all of Biddestone's bowlers did a fine job as Trowbridge were dismissed for 89.
Andy Marsh took 4-29 from his 12 overs, and he was well supported by Alan Crisford (2-30) and Craig Pepper (3-14).
