Calne Town were thrashed by Dawlish Town in their final home game of the season.
The visitors were 3-0 up before the break and scored a further three goals shortly after the interval.
Gary Banks pulled a goal back for Calne but another Dawlish strike completed the Lilywhites' misery.
Unhappy Calne assistant boss Simon Hillier said: "We were totally inept.
"They weren't that good, we were just poor.
"That's all I want to say about it really."
Dawlish, came, saw and conquered a Calne side that really didn’t look like scoring.
The hosts were out paced, beaten for height and one can see from the score, out played.
The first 3 minutes saw both Teams earning a corner each.
7 minutes later, Calne should have scored when a Dan King shot beat the visiting keeper but was just wide.
Calne went behind on 17 minutes when Jules Emati-Emati beat the offside to score the 1st Dawlish goal.
15 minutes later, a mix-up in the Calne defence saw Joe Bushin score Dalish’s second.
In the 41st minute, a back pass to the Calne keeper saw him try to beat an attacker with his foot work, lost the ball and Bushin scored the 3rd.
5 minutes after the restart, Emati-Emati scored his second and Dawlish’s 4th goal.
In the 61st minute, Dawlish’s Matt Micklewright saw the Calne keeper 2 yards off his line, tried his luck and lobbed Jason Grubb for h1st and Dawlish’s 5th.
He only had to wait 8 minutes to score his second and the visitors 6th.
Calne had had a couple of opportunity amongst all the goals but the best miss came in the 85th minute when the hosts Gary Banks collected a parried shot from the keeper but missed the open goal.
3 minutes later, Banksy did manage consolation goal for Calne when he lobbed the Dawlish keeper From the re-start, Joe Bushin went straight to the opposite end to score the visitors 7th and final goal.
This is a day for the Lilywhites to forget.
Calne travel to Willand in their final league game next Saturday.
