Bradford's Seconds clinched the championship of the Dorset & Wilts 3 West League with solid performance on Saturday.

With Frome and Bradford having shared the top spot for most of the season it had been clear for some time that this game would be the title decider with just two points separating the top three teams on the final day of the season.

In a game that struggled to find it's rhythm Bradford had the best of the first half and were 19 ahead at the break.

Frome came back early in the second half however a brace of tries from Bradford captain Joe Thompson and another pair from Ben Lumley gave the visitors the comfort they needed to cruise home.

Salisbury Exiles took the runners up spot in the league, like Bradford they had lost just three league games during the season but had not been able to better Bradford's excellent points difference.

With a fresh crop of talent emerging from their Academy Squad the promotion is well timed and Bradford who will be going into the challenge of next season hungry for more success.
