Glorious sunshine greeted more than 150 runners who lined up for the Trowbridge 10k race on Sunday.
The good weather meant that the two lap course around Southwick Country Park was pretty firm underfoot and provided some good times.
First man back was Phil Westlake of Bitton Road Runners, recording a time of 36 minutes and 47 seconds, who also took the over 40s title.
He was followed just 17 seconds later by Michael Towler of Team Bath.
Third-placed Steve Newcastle led the Avon Valley Runners team to the team prize, which included fourth-placed Alistair Bartlett and fifth-placed Michael Bryant.
The first lady home was Diane Hier of Warminster in a time of 42.18 minutes – also an over 40s winner – followed by Jayne Baggio of Tring and Leanne Tiley, from Warminster.
First man over 50 was Terry Welch of Bitton Road Runners in 42.53 minutes, while Rosemary Barber, of Avon Valley Runners, won the women’s over 50 section.
All sponsored money goes to the Bath Cancer Support Group, while the entry money all went to Trowbridge Lions Club charities.
