Top Wiltshire League Premier Division sides Melksham Town and New College clashed in the second round of the Corsham Print Senior Cup with the eventual victory going to the Town 1-0.

Honours remained even at Pewsey where the home side were held to a no score draw by visitors Bromham. There were chances at both ends but conditions were made difficult by the strong wind and a point a piece was just about a fair result.

Trowbridge Town bounced back from last weekends lifeless display with a 4-2 away win at Devizes.
Ali Jefari gave the visitors a good start with an early goal but the home side fought back to level the scores through Simon Drewitt.
Not to be denied Steve Hulbert then added a second to give Trowbridge a 2-1 lead at the break.
Soon after the restart a desperate attempt by a home defender to stop a one on one with the keeper resulted in the ball being deflected into the net for an own goal.
Devizes were awarded a penalty soon after and Drewitt converted the spot kick to keep his side in the game.
With the home side pressing for an equaliser they were caught on the break by sub Lee Hayward who scored a fourth for the visitors to make sure of victory.
Trowbridge boss Chris Carr said it was a much better performance from his side and added : “ It was also pleasing to see Chris Gittins come off the bench for half an hour after a long spell on the sidelines through injury.”
Purton Followed up their midweek victory over New College with a 2-0 victory over visitors Shrewton United.
The home side had much the better of the first half with goals coming from Craig Hogg and Lee Jones and had plenty of chances to have doubled the score.
United came into the game more after the break but never really looked like troubling the home side who continued to squander several chances.
Bottom club Westside picked up a useful point against Bradford Town both sides finishing all square on two goals apiece.
A stunning 25 yarder into the top corner form Jimmy Wright and a shot cum cross from Luke Wareham the home sides scorers.
Last seasons champions Wroughton gained 1-0 victory over visitors Westbury United courtesy of a Richard Poulton free kick just before the break.
The visitors fought hard to get back on level terms in the second half but found the Wroughton defence hard to breakdown.
Deposed leaders Calne Town were without a game.
