Rock-bottom Devizes Town are running out of games to save themselves from the drop in the Toolstation Premier Division after their 4-1 defeat at Sherborne Town.
Gary Campbell's goal gave Devizes a 1-0 lead at the break, but it was an all too familiar story after the interval as Sherborne scored four goals to run out easy winners in the end.
Devizes manager Kevin Whitbread said: "We played okay in the first half but it was a poor second half performance from us.
"We let in a couple of sloppy goals, their third goal was good and then a last-minute penalty finished us off.
"We just weren't good enough after the break."
