Calne's topsy-turvy season continued as they slipped to a disappointing loss at Bideford.
The Lilywhites were 2-0 down at the break and an early second half goal from the hosts virtually ended the game as a contest.
Gary Banks pulled one back but Bideford soon made it 4-1, before Glenn Armstrong netted a late consolation for Town.
Calne boss Robbie Lardner said: "We were not very good - that is as polite as I can put it.
"We will need to improve drastically when we play Bitton at home on Wednesday, as they are at the top of the league. If we don't we'll be in trouble."
