Ian Holloway and Ryan Delaney said that Swindon Town will need to put in a lot of work to get back on track after their 3-2 defeat to Morecambe.

In the torrential downpour and gale-force winds of Storm Bert, Swindon got off to the worst possible start, with Jamie Stott being left free to head home from a free-kick after just six minutes.

Inside 15 minutes Morecambe were two to the good as again Town were undone by a set piece as Ben Tollitt smashed home.

Aaron Drinan was introduced after 31 minutes and seconds later came up with a lifeline as he turned home and then Delaney netted his first goal for the club four minutes into the second half.

But then after Swindon had gone flat, Hallam Hope came on to score on the break to give The Shrimps the win.

After the game, Holloway discussed the need for Swindon to work harder to eradicate their difficulties from set pieces.

The new manager also said that he might have more work on his hands than he first thought when January rolls around.

Delaney said that the group are still close and hoped that they can push on to start winning games to turn this around.
