After a 2-2 draw away at Accrington Stanley, Swindon Town have a chance to get their first win in League Two since October against Morecambe.
It was confirmed by Ian Holloway on Thursday that Ollie Clarke is the only injured player in the squad and with Grant Hall returning, the manager could have a selection headache.
So, how could Town set up?
Goalkeeper: Jack Bycroft
I don’t think there will be a change in net and Bycroft will keep his spot. Some supporters haven’t been delighted with his performances lately, but I think Holloway will keep his faith in the goalkeeper and stick with him.
Defence: Harrison Minturn, Will Wright, Tyrese Sobowale
An almost unchanged back three from Saturday’s game but Delaney has been taken out of the side for Sobowale. The former Shrewsbury defender can offer a lot on the right side of a three and his profile suits opposition like Morecambe. Minturn was arguably the best defender in Lancashire and despite Wright not having his best outing, he is integral to this team.
Wing-backs: George Cox and Joel McGregor
Danny Butterworth on the left didn’t work on the weekend and when Cox slotted into that area, the team looked more stable on that side. He didn’t have his best performance but is arguably the best wing-back on the left. With Sobowale coming in as a centre-half, that leaves one man for the job on the right – McGregor.
Midfield: Gavin Kilkenny, Nnamdi Ofoborh, Danny Butterworth
The lesson learned from Saturday was to never drop Kilkenny ever again, so there is no reason why he shouldn’t start. I predict him to start alongside Ofoborh because we saw against Accrington that they can both offer ability going forward but also have the profiles to be able to sit in front of the backline and offer stability. Butterworth moving back into midfield is an obvious one, as he will be the most forward of the three and add that attacking element.
Strikers: Paul Glatzel and Harry Smith
The duo are the best strikers at SN1 and there’s no doubt about that. Whilst it wasn’t their best performance as a pair last Saturday, Aaron Drinan has struggled for goals and Kabongo Tshimanga has not yet proven himself in League Two. The game against Morecambe is a good chance for them to showcase their talent.
