Ian Holloway and Ollie Clarke both felt that there was plenty for them to learn as Swindon Town were defeated 3-1 at Milton Keynes Dons.
Clarke managed to drive away and set up Harry Smith for a back post header just 18 seconds after kick-off as Swindon played their first league match under Holloway.
However, deep into added time in the first half, Bycroft parried a shot in the box and it fell to Kane Thompson-Sommers to turn home as MK Dons ramped up the pressure before the break.
This continued into the second half as Scott Hogan got the final touch on MJ Williams' strike from a corner to complete the turnaround and then Alex Gilbey headed home at the far post to rubber stamp the win.
After the game, Holloway said that he believed there were plenty of simple lessons for his team to learn heading into the game against Accrington Stanley next week as they hope to turn their form around.
Clarke said that he was pleased to have become more of an attacking threat in recent games after getting closer to full fitness.
The captain also wants Town to stay positive as they enter a run of games against sides around them in the table.
