Swindon Town U18s will look to replicate their success in the FA Youth Cup against Newport next week at the Nigel Eady County Ground.

After a memorable run last season with wins against Aldershot, Wimborne, Luton, Manchester United and Sunderland to get them to the quarter-finals but they were edged out by rivals Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The first round tie against the Welsh side will be played on Tuesday, October 29th at 7:00pm with the possibility of extra time and penalties in the result of a draw after 90 minutes.

Robins’ fans will be able to attend the game and back the U18s by purchasing tickets online for next week’s clash.

The next generation of young Robins will be looking to make a name for themselves with players such as Botan Ameen, George Alston and Dani Gonzalez-Birchall aiming to showcase their talent.

The side currently sit sixth in the South section of the Youth Alliance League after a positive start and will look to carry that momentum into next week.

The first-round proper will contain clubs from EFL’s League One and League Two alongside non-league teams who have progressed from the qualifying rounds.
