Swindon Town have completed the replacement of the club shop sign ahead of their home game against Harrogate Town.

The new sign for the club shop after the move to kit supplier Pro:Direct with Adidas kits has finally been completed after signs from stints with Puma and Lotto had been left up.

After changing kit suppliers this season, the sign had to be changed, with it already being in a state of disrepair after high winds had knocked part of the old sign down.

During an interview with The Adver in September, CEO Anthony Hall said that the plan had been to have the sign changed in time for the match against Newport County, although for many reasons this did not happen.

In a statement, Swindon said that structural damage was caused by previous sign replacements, old brandings having been imprinted onto the brickwork due to exposure to the sun, and additional electric and alarm works being required.

This meant that the work had been pushed back until the Harrogate game and the work has been completed in advance of that match, with it being completed on October 3 and the new branding added to the shop and ready for fans at the game.
