MELKSHAM Ladies claimed their second win of the season with a 42-15 success against Dorchester.
The home side scored eight tries on the day and added one conversion despite Dorchester scoring the first try of the game.
Each side defended well and the scrums were evenly contested, with each side showing their strength and skill in every opportunity.
Chloe Wallington and Lauren Nelson emerged as the top try scorers for Melksham, with three and two respectively. Charlotte Wellon, Candice Walters and Faye George also crossed the whitewash.
The Melksham coaches would like to thank the home players who joined the Dorchester ranks to a allow the fixture to be fulfilled.
Melksham’s next match is away to Trojans 2nd on January 12.
