FORMER Bath Rugby forward and Trowbridge RFC head coach Steve Ojomoh has been transferred out of intensive care after suffering from a stroke.
Ojomoh’s wife Lisa confirmed on social media that the ex-England international, who picked up 12 caps between 1994-1998, is now being treated in a neuro ward.
Her post read: “Very happy to report OJ is now off ICU and has been transferred to a neuro ward.
“He has a great neuro/stroke and physio team in play and he is progressing really well. Lisa x.”
The 48-year-old also featured for Moseley, Gloucester, Newport and Italian side Overmach Parma during his playing career before taking up his coaching role at Trowbridge, where he guided the club to National Intermediate Cup glory at Twickenham in 2014.
