SEMINGTON picked up a huge three points in their battle with FC North Wiltshire to become Division One champions.
A 5-3 triumph for Andy Harrison’s side over Steve King’s men means that a victory for Semington over Bath Road on Tuesday will see the villagers finish top of the table with North Wilts claiming the runners up spot.
Wilts took the lead after five minutes through Aaron Leask but Semington got back into the game with Rich Allum scoring.
Sam Malone’s header put Semington 2-1 ahead. Richard Tandy restored parity for North Wilts before half-time, but they suffered a double blow, having lost James Bamford through injury they then had his replacement Dave Biggs sent off.
In the second half Bobby Mitchell smashed Semington into a 3-2 lead, a Leask own goal extended their advantage before North Wilts pulled one back through Tandy.
Semington's Stuart Barber tapped the ball home for 5-3.
