PREMIER Division champions Corsham CC Wildcats played a double-header at Meadow Lane, with both games against Westbury Rangers ending with a 2-0 victory for the league winners.
A Tom Jones double gave them the points in the first match of the day and in the second, it was Lewis McCarron and Mark Robinson who found the target for the Wildcats, who finished the season with a 100 per cent record.
A week after they suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of FC Bradford to end their hopes of finishing as top-flight runners up Melksham Town (Sunday) avenged that loss with a 4-0 victory over Bradford at Poulton.
James Dark took his tally for the season to 25 with a brace, Sean Fordham and first goal for the club for Alex Bowers completed Melksham’s quartet.
Trailing 2-1 at the break, Calne BFC would have fancied their chances of picking up a first point of the season at FC Lacock.
However the second period was one-sided as Lacock ran out 10-2 winners.
Jordan O’Dwyer topped scored with a four-timer, Dan Dutton broke his duck for the season with a double, Ryan Ross added a couple and a goal each from Corey Williams and Partick Kapelka made up the 10.
Shane Minnis and Jamie Gaff replied for Calne.
