BOTH Division Three champions Bromham and first division Semington upset the odds to reach the final of this season’s Dave Wolf Construction-sponsored Subsidiary Cup Final.
Victories over respective opponents Westbury Cons and Pheasant FC set up final showdown between the two underdogs at Westbury United FC on Sunday, May 20.
Charles Street’s 55th-minute effort was good enough to earn Bromham a 1-0 success over Cons.
Chris Dore was Semington’s hero away at top-flight runners up Pheasant FC.
Semington led 2-0 with Dore scoring both goals for from a Sam Malone cross from the right hand side.
Paul Gittins got Pheasant back in the game before half-time and although they bossed the second period, being denied by the woodwork twice and some desperate defending, Semington held out.
