AN EXCELLENT second-half performance from Premier Division leaders Corsham CC Wildcats saw them claim a 4-0 victory over FC Lacock.
After a goalless first period, Tom Jones was the star man with a double, Darrin Moss and Adam Mitchell also finding the target.
Calne BFC and Pheasant FC played a double header at Beversbrook, with the latter claiming maximum points in both games to stay on the coattails of the leaders.
The first was won 6-0 thanks to two goals each from Nick Ridout and Mark Dolman and singles from Paul Gittins and Max Wyatt.
The second saw them hit 11 unanswered, Gittins with five, Mark Nolan adding a hat-trick, Ridout a brace and Richie Bolter a single.
Melksham Town (Sunday) saw their hopes of beating Pheasant FC to runners-up spot disappear after they were beaten 4-3 by FC Bradford.
John Carroll’s own goal and Jordan Kirk gave Melksham a two-goal lead, but Mark Maguire's double restored parity, only for Jack Woolsgrove to put Melksham 3-2 ahead. Kieran Powell again levelled and a third from Maguire won it, while Melksham had Luke Turvey sent off.
