BROMHAM are through to the semi-finals of the Dave Wolf Construction sponsored Subsidiary Cup after their 3-2 victory at their New Road ground over third division stablemates Buttercross on Tuesday evening.
Joe Walker put Bromham ahead from a corner and although the Butter boys restored parity via a Josh Legg free kick, Bromham regained the lead before half-time through Charles Street.
An excellent finish from Eddie Summers, who fired home on the angle, put Bromham 3-1 in front and despite a late rally from Buttercross which saw Matt Harvey net following a mis-hit clearance from the Bromham keeper, the villagers saw out the final 10 minutes to claim a place in the final four.
