BROMHAM moved to within a point of clinching the Division Three title with a nail biting 4-3 victory at Old Road, their winner coming in the 89th minute.
Road, who started the game with 10 men, fell behind to goals from Ryan Bole and Jack Young.
Matty Poole cut the gap only for Seamus Nickless-Mooney to hand Bromham back their two-goal lead when he put through his own net.
Poole kept Old Road in the contest with his second and when he completed his hat-trick after the break it looked as if Bromham were going to drop vital points.
However, with a minute left, the villagers were awarded a penalty and Harry Marsh kept his cool and tucked the ball home to give Bromham a hard-earned 4-3 win.
Buttercross earned a 3-1 victory at Fox & Hounds (Warminster) to stay in with a chance.
Ross Pugh fired Fox & Hounds in front, but Josh Beard restored parity from the penalty spot and Matty Harvey and Josh Legg wrapped up the win.
Adam Greeves scored from the penalty spot to give Sporting Box a 1-0 interval advantage which was cancelled out by Darren Amador for White Hart in the second half.
