AN EIGHTH straight victory has catapulted Corsham CC Wildcats to the top of the Premier Division.
Their 7-1 victory over 10-man Calne BFC has seen them move two points clear of Pheasant FC in the race to become the top-flight champions for 2018.
In a match where not a single foul was given in the whole 90 minutes, referee Sam Gooding commended the brilliant attitudes of both sides.
Seven down at the break to goals from Darrin Moss and Mark Robinson, who scored two apiece, and singles for Sammy Jordan, Liam Shipman and Lewis McCarron, Calne held out in the second period while finding the net themselves though James McGlone.
