AVON AC fished the second round of the SCC series on a low clear river Avon at Whaddon where Richard Wills had half his weight of 12lbs 7ozs by catching a fine 6lbs 2oz bream to win the match.
Second was Steve Shears (6lbs 15ozs) with third going to Tony Scott with 6lbs 9ozs.

THERE were no problems for fish in the Wiltshire Angling match at the prolific Tober Manor lakes where all the top six had over 100lbs.
First on the day was Vic Bush with 169lbs.

THE Trowbridge AC open match was fished on the river Avon at Staverton where Clive Branson, from Cardiff, took the honours by just two ounces with 13lbs 2ozs of roach from Neil Richards (13lbs).

THE over 55's Tuesday club fished Cliveys Lake with the organiser Jim Escott winning the match with 14lbs 12ozs of silver fish.
