SEMINGTON jockey Noel Fehily guided pre-race favourite Blaklion to fourth in today's Randox Health Grand National, as local horse The Young Master came a cropper early on.
Fehily, who won both the Stan James Champion Hurdle and Queen Mother Champion Chase at last month's Cheltenham Festival, guided the 8/1 shot into the minor placings as One For Arthur claimed the Aintree glory under Derek Fox.
Fehily said: "He gave me a great ride. He jumped brilliantly but he just tied up a bit from two out."
The Young Master, trained by Neil Mulholland at the Conkwell Grange stables near Winsley, was among the pre-race fancies but his race, with amateur jockey Sam Waley-Cohen on board, was over at the sixth - Becher's Brook - as he hit the deck.
