THE Bank Holiday Monday Wilts Angling Open was won by Willetts with 252 lb 4 oz of carp, followed Roland Lucas, from Frome, with 221 lb and Ben Ludwell, from Rode, with 170 lb 5 oz of carp.
Other placings: 4. Stuart White Chippenham 150 lb 0 oz; 5. Pete Neate Holt 136 lb 0 oz; 6. Steve Gardner Chippenham 122 lb 0 oz.
THE Trowbridge Seniors match at Eden Vale was won by Jim Escott, from Melksham, with 31 lb of roach and skimmers.
Bernie Ryan, from Devizes,was next with 26 lb 8 oz of roach and skimmers, followed by Barry Oakford, from Trowbridge, with 19 lb 12 oz of roach and skimmers.
Other placings: 4. Ernie Jones Trowbridge 14 lb 8 oz; 5. Ken Howard Melksham 12 lb 12 oz; 6. John Blackmore Lavington 12 lb 4 oz.
SATURDAY'S Blue Circle Open went to Tony Birch, from Trowbridge, with 145 lb 4 oz of carp. Ian Willetts was runner up spot with 104 lb 15 oz of carp, followed by Pete Neate, from Holt, with 97 lb 14 oz of carp.

SUNDAY'S Airsprung match at Farleigh Wood saw Mark Poppleton, from Devizes, win with 65 lb 13 oz of carp.
Tom Ince, from Trowbridge, was next with 41 lb 14 oz of carp and Kevin Hanson, from Trowbridge, was third with 19 lb 14 oz of carp.
Other placings: 4. Richard Whitmarsh Frome 17 lb; 5. Steve Ince Trowbridge 11 lb; 6. Dave Blackwell Trowbridge 10 lb 10 oz.
SUNDAY'S Wilts Angling Open match at Todber Manor saw Neate take top spot with 141 lb 8 oz of carp.
Stuart White, from Chippenham, was runner up prize with 127 lb of carp, followed by Mick Martin, from Trowbridge, with 95 lb 12 oz of carp.
