GOOD putting comes from having a good set-up.
Here are some quick tips to help you start holing more putts out on the golf course.
Firstly, you need to get your eyes over the line of the putt.
This helps you see the line correctly and help you produce an on line stroke.
Next you need to get your hands underneath your shoulders, this will help you to be able to reduce the pendulum swing and will reduce the amount the hands rotate as the further they are from your body the more likely they are to turn.
Also you need to keep the handle of the club more in your palms, this keeps the club in better control and can reduce twisting during the stroke.
I like to keep the grip held along the palm of the hands along the life lines, with the fleshy part at the base of the thumb cradling the putter.
Lastly, once you have the putter in the life lines you need to try and keep the shaft of the putter in line with your forearms.
This ensures that your arms and the putter travel in the same direction creating an on line stroke.
